akira's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- first day Being a bit drunk I'm writing an IC..... >()< My greatest fear....today I experienced that....my daughter had her first day at school. Her teacher Jason approached me in the office, wondering if this was one of his students. I had small talk with him and the principal PinUp Girl. She talked to my daughter and myself like she knew us for sometime, which lifted my spirits. As the time grew near and I had my brood near to comfort me, Uber and Mangle I got much more uncomfortable with this whole situation. I met some other parents who were going through the same thing as I was, Sabine who's daughter hadn't been in day care let alone school before. However, I wasn't wanting conversation at that point. I didn't want to leave my daughter regardless of WHO the people were, even if they were d-landers. The doors opened for the classroom and we were allowed into the room. It was a nice enough room. My daughter feel in love right away. Then again she judges people on the amount of toys they have so.... I had to admit it was a nice room. The assistant teacher Squib was wonderful with one of the children who needed that extra loving that kids need sometimes. A hug here, a sweet word there and he was into the swing of things. Apparently parents Francince and Dan couldn't tell time because their children arrived late! (please don't take offence to this statement. this is what happened in my day and i'm using it for the I.C.) I picked my daughter up later that day. She got out at 2:45 and I got there at 2:02! Think I was anxious to see my girl?? NAH!! One of my coworkers...the one I'm REALLY close to...she bought me Japanese food because I did so well with this whole thing. :o) She fucking great. THANK YOU'S TO DANA AND MY CREW for being MOST supportive people. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I made it. And MORE importantly.....MY DAUGHTER made it!!! *hugs smile* She loves her school.
