immuntiy challenge (on time for once)

.: I. C. :.

What one memory would you choose to bring with you when you die?

When I first opened my email with the IC topic, I thought...."hey no problem" Then the more I thought about it I realized it's not as easy as I thought it would be. I know that my memory has to do with my daughter, that parts easy. At first I thought that it would be when I had her, then I thought no. The more I thought the harder it got. So I'm sitting here trying to figure it out. And you know what DAN, it's really tough. :o| I can choose several hundred memories that I'd want to take with me. But who's stopping us from choosing more then one?? Knowing me, I'd probably con the soul who's incontrol of making me choose one into letting me take a couple. hehe So that's what I'm gonna do, choose a couple. Hell it's my eternity right?? *evil giggle*

First memory - My daughters first step. I was talking to her father while he was standing in the kitchen, she was sitting in the livingroom on her blanket. Out of nowhere she gets up and walks over to me, grabs my pant leg, looks up at me, giggles, then goes back to where she was sitting, and back to me again. She did this for about 20 minutes. She hasn't stopped since. :o)

Second memory - The first time J saw my daughter. We met him at Togo's for lunch. He was holding her telling her how men are scum and not to trust them. Things like "If a man tells you he'll die if you don't finish he's lying" and "If they tell you it tastes good, ask him to taste it first" things like that. There's something about this HUGE 6 4 man holding a 3 month old baby talking to her about sex that stands out in my mind.

Third memory - Last x-mas. This was the first year that I've had a crap load of money to blow on my daughter and everyone else. I didn't have to worry shit. I just spent and spent. Scooby Doo tents, Easy Bake Ovens w/ food to make, the works. I loved seeing her face with it all.

Final memory - (amazingly enough this doesn't have to do with my girl) The first time I listened to Stabbing Westward "wither, blister, burn, and peel" I've said it thousands of times, this album/CD saved my life. My salvation was literally saved the day I purchased this tape. Never having heard of them before, going on my gut reaction from only heaven knows where.

So there you go. I could have listed a whole bunch more. Seriously. But since I'm breaking the rules by choosing more then one I figure why not stop while I'm ahead right?

Ave )O( Akira
