akira's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 year mark On Decemeber 3rd of 1998 I went out to Colorado to see my boy. I was in Colorado for a week. I say 8 days, he says 7 days. That's still up for debate. Leaving after those days was incrediably hard. Having spent nights with him next to me, waking up with him near me (I move around a lot in my sleep). All that was going to be gone once I boarded the plane. Waiting for the plane to take off, I thought about the previous week. I thought about how I was never going to see him again. I was grateful for having him for those few precious days. I got back to Cali in the middle of the night. Hopped online, IM'd him (I missed him already) told him I got home alright. Over the next couple of weeks we didn't talk much, he was sick. I was trying to get my life back in order. I missed him horribly. One night out of the blue he says "I'm moving to California" He had no idea where he was going to stay or really anything about coming here. All he knew was I missed him, and he missed me. After about a week we got the arrangements taken care of, he would be staying with us (me, my daughter, her father..don't ask). Leaving Colorado on December 26th and arriving in California on December 28th, by Greyhound our lives began. I'm thankful for him, though I rarely show it. He's given me strength, support, and security since he's been with me. I'm blessed to have him in my life. Coming from a background that he's from, having to deal with me and my faults (many many faults), my lifestyle, my situation it's amazing he's doing as wonderful as he is. I'm proud of him, all the achievements he's made in two years he's been here. I am so totally impressed by him, always.
