akira's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- happy what?? Has x-mas come too early or is it just me? Damn it all to hell. Yesterday was the day from hell. After working and fighting, I went x-mas shopping. whoo hoo (note sarcasam) 4 hours in a mall sounds bad doesn't it? It was really pretty painless. Now the wrapping...that's another story. A. I HATE WRAPING PRESENTS! I'm one of those people that buys bags just to avoid the whole wrapping experience. B. I'm really horrible at it. Instead of the item looking like a wrapped present, it's more like a mangled warped imitation of one. I'm so bad at it that Tweaker actually took two boxes away from me, while she was in the middle of wrapping one of her own, because I was destroying them. :o) In the up note. Two less gifts for me to wrap. (though on my defense...almost everyone one of my items were odd shaped!) I never went to sleep lastnight. We wrapped presents until 5 in the morning, had to get to work by 9, which means we had to get up at 7. I'm one of those people that if I fall asleep just two hours before I have to wake up...I won't wake up. So we just stayed awake, took our perspective showers, and off to work we went. And so my day went. Still after all that, I haven't finished my shopping, hence I haven't finished my wrapping, thus it's bound to start all over again.
