akira's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- the day after Her birthday went off without TOO many hitches. She kept saying "This is the best Birthday EVER!" My old co-workers had me come down, they had a DOZEN HUGE balloons, cupcakes, and a card with everyone's b-day wishes. It was cool. She loved it. After we took her to Chucky Cheese. My girlfriends showed up, havoc was reeked. Again she loved it. Then it was off to Tweakers house where my daughter is the houses daughter. Mind you now everyone there is Filipino. Granted my daughter thinks SHE'S Filipino, but still. They are SOO good to her. She got Barbies (oh lovely), and stayed up MUCH too late, but...she loved it. On the whole she had a wonderful day. We (the lot of us) got her a GameBoy Colour and games - Bubbles vs Him, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and The Muppets. She yelled at me for killing Bubbles too many times. Hey it was the first time I EVER even held a GameBoy. I did alright. I'm a mother of a 6 year old now who's pushing 30! I missed my mom. I'm not use to not having her call or her getting a card or anything. Sooner or later I won't even trip. I hope so at least.
