ya right

there is a story in the news lately locally where I live. this young girl was at her homecoming dance, went outside to call her dad, get air, who knows really. in any case a "friend" and I use that term in a very loose trem, introduces her to some guys who are drinking, she drinks with them either by force or for fun. by the end of the night she was raped, robbed, and beaten all of which lasted 2 hours. she was in the hospital for several days because of the extent of it all.
all of this happened on school property. durning the dance. where teachers, the princepal, and police were "monitoring".
according to many students who spoke out at a city council meeting, these "men" were sitting in plain view of the all the adults on benches. not one chaperone said a word.
they left the girl near a dumpster, naked, and beaten. thankfully, some KIDS who went to the school called 911 to report her lying there. this after other people walked by and "didn't want to get involved".
haha and people tell me that I am too protective over my daughter, who's now 14?
